South High Community Band Schedule 2018-19

Welcome to the 2019-2020 South High Community Band season!  The South High Community Concert Band and South High Community Jazz Band will rehearse or perform most Tuesday nights during the academic year, from September 17, 2019, through May 26, 2020.

Concert Band rehearses from 6:45 to 8:30 p.m., with the baton down at 7:00 p.m.
Jazz Band rehearses from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Please note the following changes to the regular Tuesday night schedule:

Tuesday, October 15, 2019: No Rehearsal (Parent-Teacher Conferences)
Wednesday, October 16, 2019: Rehearsal (Baton down 7 p.m.)
Tuesday, November 5, 2019: No Rehearsal (Election Day… PLEASE VOTE!)
Tuesday, November 19, 2019: No Rehearsal (9th Grade Visit Night)
Wednesday, November 20, 2019: Rehearsal (Baton down 7 p.m.)
Tuesday, December 24 and Tuesday, December 31, 2019: No Rehearsal (Winter Break)
Tuesday, January 28, 2020: No Rehearsal (South High Pops Concert)
Tuesday, February 11, 2020: Scheduled Winter Concert (May need to be moved to later in February, TBD)
Tuesday, March 31, 2020: No Rehearsal (Spring Break)

The band will sometimes take a break from rehearsal in the week following a concert.  These breaks will be announced.
